no, but i bet a lot of people would.  a lot of people (everyone?) already kind of do that with certain things to some degree.  it's video games, porn, tv, book, etc. just deeper into the fantasy world pool imo.

no, but i bet a lot of people would.  a lot of people (everyone?) already kind of do that with certain things to some degree.  it's video games, porn, tv, book, etc. just deeper into the fantasy world pool imo.

a lot of people would argue we already are if we're going down that rabbit hole. but, you know, what is reality.

If I had a QC I think the first thing I would do with it is make Isildur throw the Ring of Power into the fire of Mt Doom when he had the chance and just save a lot of folks from a lot of suffering

I want to be really excited, but this strikes me as simple marketing by MSFT. I hope it's accurate, though. All the olds might finally relinquish their positions.

My understanding is this is logical quantum computing, so different than the pure quantum computing. They are talking about building a "hybrid supercomputing system", which is kind of like a quantum simulator I gather. It's not surprising that its easier to fix errors in a simulator.
