Rewatched the game today and found some dim bright spots. Our bigs were able to score, going 9 for 11, I think. Cam was a warrior once he got agressive going to the hole in the second half and actually tied Pack as the game-high scorer with 28, which was -- as the announcers repeated said re Pack -- a tournament record. He needs to show leadership and take charge like that earlier when others are struggling. Kaluma good again.
Objectively, I can't really credit Miami for our poor 3-point shooting or first-half turnover problem. We just missed a score of open 3s and have to find focus on ball handling.
Would have been nice to have Tomlin and Ames for the game/tournament, to say nother of Glover. I think fresher legs against Miami would have been big. I think Tomlin would have made Omier work harder on defense and thus maybe limit him more offensively.
