Looking ahead to Kentucky
« on: March 13, 2023, 10:10:49 AM »
I'm a little nervous about the other Wildcats, but maybe not a lot.  Just from my low-bbiq, it looks like they have one main dude and a bunch of guys that may or may not be dudes.  I feel like our dude can neutralize their dude, and then our other dude can have himself a game.

My other hot take is that they are our only challenge until the elite 8

I think there's a decent chance they lose their first round game.

My Hawk co-worker told me that Calipari had unleashed the power of their main dude who had been hobbled by playing under the stifling constraints of the last program he was at. Seems pretty serious if a Hawk is giving Calipari credit for doing something good.

I'm already looking past Kentucky if I'm being honest.

I almost named my bracket Wildcat Knife Fight.

I didn't because I saw that Marquette was next and immediately stopped caring about those Always Save Cats and started looking at the match up of Tang v Smart and couldn't think about anything else.  :excited:

Hey, thanks for the example I could use in Psychology 101 for cognitive dissonance.

I don't think Kentucky has a chance against the sleeping monster Providence Cthulus. I can only prey Tang knows a few secret incantations to subdue the unspeakable horror.

On a serious note I think we’re long overdue in presenting our case for Kentucky to vacate their 1951 season due to the ongoing point shaving scandals at the time and rightfully take our place as 1951 NCAA Champions.   Someone get Yormark on the case…

We should just start claiming the 51 title with no big reveal or anything. Slip it in the media guide and casually hang a banner in the OOD this off-season and pretend it's always been there.

Does KU still hang the Helms title banners at the piss barn?

Bring on the Eastern wildcats. We are western wildcats and our western wildcats live off the excess wildcats that grow up in the sheltered horse barns in KY.

When those KY barn cats try to cross the Mississippi river they get punked by the hardcore great plains Katz and probably die within 5 days.

They copied UNC. Another cucking of KU by UNC.  It's shameful. I call on all real squawks to reject the yoke of East coast basketball oppression.

UK Oscar had 25 reb (11 oreb) v prov
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.
