Jimbo's job has weird pressure now.  They aren't going to fire him for wins and losses without making him absolutely rich.  However, he had better be THE MOST HR-compliant employe in the entire building.

Doesn’t that explain perfectly what’s happening? They paid the man so damn much he’s incentivized to run the squeakiest clean program instead of winning games.

I have taken weed to multiple foreign countries, I don't know why MIR thinks it's implausible to get it from Texas to South Carolina

The implausible is whipping out a pen or joint and passing it around with 75 other dudes and another 25 coaches and staff in an incredibly confined space during a time of increased sensibility and anger. This is the equivalent of smoking weed in your boss's office while they're giving you a quarterly review, that isn't going particularly great. I get these dudes are 18 or 19 years old, but that would be way beyond bold and stupid.

Remember the Yella Wood mafia at Auburn were an eyelash away from convincing enough people that Bryan Harsin was banging one of the young staffers he brought with him from BSU.

So it’s probably only a matter of time before a BMD clique at A&M starts up some kind of sordid rumor about Jimbo.

Yeah I think she was running around but I don't think it was with FSU players, it was some dude in Tallahassee and supposedly another dude who played tennis at Florida.

A&M is clearly a disaster right now, but I'm not buying the reasoning for those three players being suspended. It was widely reported that whatever the suspendable offense was, it was something that happened in the locker room after the south carolina game. I might end up looking like a fool, but I absolutely don't believe the players were smoking weed in the visiting locker room after the game ended.
I think it could be plausible they had a vape pen.   I don't think any kid is dumb enough to fire up a joint though.

Too lazy to look it up but I'm guessing Sumlin was top 10/15ish every year which should be the baseline for the 2nd best school in the most talent rich state. Jimbo supposedly pulled the GOAT class of all time last year but it doesn't look like many of them will make it 3 or 4 years.

It doesn't occur to me until watching but then I wondered if this was what Tom Breneman was attempting to reference or making a joke about.
