What you're not going to understand here, and of course will totally avoid. Is that your boy purposefully got himself installed in a training program that he knew would improve his street cred once he went into politics. He went through the program, got the promotion. He then abruptly left the military when war time deployment orders came, went into politics and yet still tries to claim a position/rank in the military that he did not hold upon leaving the military. Because his early exit, meant an automatic demotion for not fulfilling the obligations he signed up for by getting placed into that specific program.

Saw someone make the point that he could be VP for 8 years, POTUS for 8 years, and still be younger than Trump is now. Which is pretty amazing imo.
