The NYT has legit been covering Biden negatively because he won't grant them an interview.

A self interested inner circle is more committed to retaining proximity to power with Biden than they are to not having Trump be president.

So, these mysterious Democrats are more interested in remaining close to power, yet they aren't concerned about Trump becoming President?

I mean, the whole thing is about nothing but power. Both sides. Top to bottom. Inner circles and outer circles. That is literally the entirety of it.

Suddenly #blueanongE is concerned about power. Even though they are part of the biggest sell out political movement in modern world history.

But if the Democratic staffers, cabinet members, etc. want to stay close to power yet believe Trump is likely to win against Biden, aren't those two things counterintuitive?

Go watch Joe shred Paul Ryan in the 2012 VP debate and then watch him from Thursday night.  It's enough to make you tear up a little for the poor bastard.

Oh Joe was a great talker. Particularly when he was on some committee talking about bombing the crap out of people or putting black people in jail

Agree. Biden’s cognitive decline is indisputable. The question will be whether this impacts voters’ choices. Trump’s pathological lying is also indisputable and was on display in the debate, yet somehow leaves his voters undeterred.

I liked Mark Cuban’s take on it.

I agree again.  If Biden and his supporters first priority was preventing Trump from being elected, they would bow out and throw their full support to another qualified candidate.

Meanwhile SCOTUS has had to step in 2 and arguably 3 times in the last several weeks to at least put the brakes on this authoritarian administration.
