JD is pretty outspoken about the grift that is Ukraine.

Good for overall budget reasons.  But not  for all the extras that perpetual war provides for cash flow for the MIC via the xtra appropriations.

It's always fascinating to watch the Republican Twitter leadership throw all kinds of crap on the wall rapid fire to see what sticks.

LMAO - #blueanon calls everything it doesn’t like a threat to democracy.

Now it’s forced a sitting first term President out of seeking a second term because they don’t think he can win.

A least LBJ saw the handwriting on the wall based on a TV filled with dead American soldiers. Not because his party was afraid of their opponent winning.

Seems like there's no way it's anyone but Kamala. Which I think is best at this point. Obama seems like the most significant player that hasn't explicitly endorsed her

Obvious and typical lying maga bullshit aside, this talking point and what happened today is 100% the fault of the DNC. If they didn't rig the nomination process, and completely shelter Biden from the few candidates who did run, we could have been to this point in January or February. Some people keep trotting that 14 million voters number out there as if it was a legitimate primary season that he grinded though.

I don't think there's anything in him not endorsing yet. He also slow played Hilary in 16 and Biden in 20. It's only been a couple of hours and it's probably prudent for him not to endorse just a couple of hours into this process.

Sidenote, I really truly hope she doesn't pick Newsom. I would prefer Whitmer or Shapiro, probably not going to be either, but it can't be Newsom, which means it probably will be.

To me this would be like if mccain won and dropped out after one term and sarah palin became the nominee
Great analogy.

To me, personally, it would also be like if literally any one term president dropped out and their VP became the nominee.

I don't think she can/will. Too much Cali to appeal to the middle. It would be boss to have Whitmer and they just double triple down on reproductive rights, but I think even that's a tough potential pull. Pete would be great but I think him being gay also maybe goes a bit too far. But I think regardless you gotta be bold. I think Tim Kaineing it is not worth it. Hell even fetterman with his health issues would also be an interesting choice.

There’s a few more layers to this, but I guess?
