By every account, the war in the Middle East has already been flamed (Houthi's now openly saying they're targeting US Navy ships)

It is definitely true that Trump is inheriting a lot more flames than he left, but....

Remember when Iran/Houthis took out half of Saudi's refining capacity with one drone strike? There were reasons why Saudi and Iran stopped firing and started talking. Hope that is the path forward, but it doesn't look like it.

So you're saying that maximum pressure is going to immediately lead to a war between Saudi Arabia and Iran . . . with Saudi Arabia openly showing that they're fist pumping the crap out of Trump's election??

Since 2022 the Saudis (and the US) and Houthis stopped fighting a war and Iran and Saudi have diplomatic relations.

Trump admin is getting stocked with the same old neocons and pro-war Republicans as last time and the dream since McCain has been to bomb Iran. I saw he just named Mike Huckabee as envoy to Israel. Maybe the Republicans will finally get their wish and bomb Iran!

The last time I heard Huckabee talking about Iran and Israel even the Israelis were a little leery of Huckabee's Holocaust rhetoric.

KK, apparently you aren't aware. But the US is currently arming a country that has bombed Yemen numerous times over the last few months and we've bombed Yemen in multiple strikes just in the last few days and did the same less than a month ago, friend.

I know about the Houthi conflict, which the US was arming and refueling the Saudis and would've stopped in 2019 if the warmonger Trump had not vetoed the bill to stop it.  Sounds like Trump wants to restart that war now.
