Too early to confirm but there are rumblings that the Russian "regular" army is going to have to start diverting efforts from rape, torture and looting washing machines to guarding the Russian border and preventing their "allies" in separatist militias and local collaborators from fleeing into Russia.

It's a 1500 km front.  Who was defending these areas for the Russians? 

I've seen multiple articles from entities claiming that Europe has "solved" it's energy problems for the Winter, and yet one EU//Euro politician after another keeps popping up with doom and gloom. 

Speaking of Goldman, what are their various positions in Europe, are they trying to bolster their holdings with positive propaganda?

The great thing about armchair #neocons is that they weirdly believe no one is firing back at the Ukrainians and no Ukrainian is actually dying in this "offensive".

The current German economic model is based on two pillars. These are unlimited access to cheap Russian energy resources and to cheap French electric power, thanks to the operation of nuclear plants. The importance of the first factor is considerably higher. Halting Russian supplies can well create a systemic crisis that would be devastating for the German economy and, indirectly, for the entire European Union.

It's one thing to maybe be able to keep people warm, it's a whole other thing to have a manufacturing production capacity that's economically viable.
