There's so many holes in that, it looks like K-State's running game against KU.
So the US leaving NATO doesn't benefit Russia?
Sure it would have benefitted Russia.
But I've bullet pointed numerous things that Trump did and/or wanted to achieve that would have hammered Russia where it hurts Russia and Vlad Putin the most. Just because your self affirming media entities have chosen not to discuss or just ignore those things, doesn't make them any less real.
Based on what numerous NATO countries have NOT done relative to the Ukrainian crisis, and relative to what the second largest economy in NATO continuously fails to do relative to the alliance. You have to start asking yourself, why is the US spending billions to protect those guys? Trump wanted to pull some troops out of Germany and move them to Poland . . . that's closer to Russia BTW. Trump believed in close ties with the UK, another massive U.S. military staging area and strategic to the North Sea. The idea that a formidable U.S. European military alliance could not have been created in a post NATO world is just a lie and a myth.
The Russian can be dealt with, the Chinese are far more insidious, having Russia aligned with us would be far better in the long run. The size of their economy etc. etc. is immaterial to that discussion. Russia is more concerned with regional security, China is clearly hellbent on world domination and repeatedly makes that clear . . . right there for all to see, hear and read.
I won't even get into how the current clown in the Oval Office crap all over our NATO partners in Afghanistan to score political and PR points. He crap all over our NATO partners to the point that Macron started talking about a new EU Military Alliance and similar things.
