He’s the only one who can debate trump effectively. The rest of them will either pee their pants when trump takes a shot at them, or they’ll try to fight back a little but trump is bitb when it comes to slinging mud.

Also I could see trump just refusing to participate in the debates. He has enough people following his socials he can just record one of his airing of grievances without any fact checking or rebuttal.

The Republican electorate is not what I’m referencing they’ve made their choice clear. I’m referring to the RNC/WSJ types saying he won’t or shouldn’t be the nominee. I’m just waiting for the RNC to announce that Trump is de facto nominee. In 2020 as an incumbent made total sense, much like for 2024 DNC, as no party should never give up incumbency.
