Me too, what's your favorite form of transport?

Here is my top 5

1. River barge transport (I have no idea how this works but ever since I read Huck Finn I've wanted to take a John boat from KC to NOLA)
2. IMDL (trains are kinda cool)
3. Truckload (TL) (kinda boring but it butters the bread)
4. Ocean transport (kinda crazy how we can just slam 20k containers on a ship)
5. LTL (less than truckload, think 1-8 pallets of goods).

I'll do everyone a favor and save them some googling by explaining what foamer means.... Basically there is a portion of our society who geeks the eff out when it comes to watching trains.

That's what I imagine when I see people talking about airplanes and airports on goEMAW.com.

Another fun train fact, hobos who ride the rails definitely still exist (as of like 8 years ago) but they are never called hobos, the technical word for them is "Trespassers".

You would be surprised at how many hobos were on the trains, like at least once a month there would be some people jumping off the train when it pulled into Gardner rough ridin' Kansas. These fools thought they were heading to downtown KC but nope, your in the exurbs.

99% of them were cool and the terminal manager or the "bulls" (elite term for the RR police) would give them a ride to the closest gas station off I35.

I think I would definitely like to do this for a month if I retire early.  Maybe one summer.

Looks like the trains fans years ago where I worked.  Also, my boss was a big time foamer.
Hot time in Kat town tonight.

Saw a bunch of tweets from supply chain cats that large trucking companies are alerting their drivers that loves/pilot have told them they are expecting Diesel shortages on the east coast in the next couple of days.

No idea on the reason why

it's because we aren't making enough diesel.

At some point this isn’t just bad breaks, someone is messing with the system right?
