I could see showing up to help out at a ski resort free of charge if I want to or something, but I'm not going to commit myself to any sort of regular schedule, take crap from customers, or listen to what the management has to say.

From my experience, this is how everyone works at a ski resort

I'm sorry we are a bunch of Kansas kids conditioned to believe that everyone who retires at a reasonable age either immediately dies of a heart attack or goes back to work due to boredom.

Oh I was programmed the same way. I'm sure I'd find something to do after a couple years of traveling. Probably settle with a place in Kentucky and do something in the thoroughbred or saddlebred industry. I'd love a 100 acre spread with four board fences and my own horses.
