A courier of some sort, but nothing before noon.
Being a courier or meter reader seems like a really relaxing job.

Mow lawns (agree with OP on riders only)

Flip houses (let my daughter do all the stuff that HG tv ladies do, and I just work on demo day and cut checks to sub contractors rest of the time)

Junior College teacher in business or MIS curriculum, or a HS teaching job in economics/accounting/history/philosophy/sociology related courses.

Crypto coin mining (let my son do all of it and I just cut checks)

I want to work for Sandstone and mocat.  If they aren’t hiring then part time help for a trail race organizer and part time labor at a brewery.
I like this one. Having a part time gig at a good music venue would be pretty cool.

That is if we are talking about the same Sandstone.

No, I was talking about this one.

I did it in my early 20's and it's the only job I've ever had that I actually enjoyed. Spend most of your time alone just listening to the radio in the car. The hospital I worked for had lots of retired dudes that would work like 3-4 hours a few times a week.

Working at a golf course or a substitute teacher. If I had FU money I wouldn't want a full time job, just something to do for 10-20 hrs a week.

I played golf with a random 70 year old at St Andrews (OP not Europe) who was pretty good and knew the cart girls/marshal etc. Turns out he works like 5 hours a week washing carts or something then just plays golf for free all the time.

Being a hobby farmer like my dad is also a great gig.

I think being a mailman would be a pretty sweet gig. You get your exercise every day too. I've had the same mailman for a while so I assume he knows the route and houses like the back of his hand. He seems happy as can be when I see him. He has his AirPods in just trotting along. Half the time he is talking to someone through the pods laughing. I prob wouldn't do it with FU money, but it seems pretty great. Crappy weather would be a bummer, I guess.

Sometimes the in-town mailmen have to do extra routes when their colleagues are sick or on vacation. Surge in packages around the holidays and toting all the amazon packages could be a pain. I was talking to a guy who does a rural route where Amazon delivers their own packages and he says it is just great.

I think being a mailman can also be stressful as evidenced by them constantly snapping and mass murdering their coworkers.

Had an older Karen mail lady for the longest time just a grump. Mailbox at my house is right by my front steps and in awkward spot so one day I drilled into front of our house and mounted a mailbox on the front of the house. Most houses in my neighborhood have them in that spot. I pulled the old one out. Letter from postmaster that I had 30 days to put the old one back and after that they would quit bringing me my mail. I waited until the 30th day and put the old one back.. I now have 2 mailboxes..(house is brick so its not like I'm just going to fill it in) well Karen must've retired and we haven't had the same mailperson each day of the week. Long story short pulled the old mailbox and now the mailbox is where I want it. Go cats

Open two restaurants:

1. breakfast and lunch place. will name it School Food.  Will only serve the cafeteria food schools served Millenials and X'ers when in middle school and high school.  Nostalgia at it's $4 crispito and school best.

2. Something that will def lose money because it will be small and I will only serve one meal for dinner, and it will only be what I want to cook.  Maybe like a membership thing.

The first will print money, and the second will lose it.

Crispito. Those things were tasty but I shudder to think about how they manufactured the filling. We had the best school lunch ladies. Really masters of making lemonade out of lemons. They has some weird USDA surplus foods that they had to feed us. We should start a school lunch memories thread.

I loved crispitos but about 1 in 10 was the worst tasting thing ever.

I wouldn't get a job. I'd either keep doing what I'm doing or quit and live life on vacation. If I really wanted to work a crappy, high-stress job for low pay, then I'd already be doing that.

Crispitos would be Wednesday.

Monday would be chicken patty, super buttery rolls, and mashed potatoes with yellow gravy

Tues Salisbury  steak

Thurs chili and cinnamon rolls

Friday rectangular pizza

Breakfast is the egg sandwiches or biscuits and gravy every day

Also, why do you guys like mowing so much? It kills my back and I had a friend lose a brother to a freak riding mower accident. There's nothing positive that can come from it.

Riding on a tiny car for an hour kills your back? Thoughts and prayers wacky.
