They may be forced to draft another quarterback, but it won't be because of, or at the expense of Skylar. His performance today wasn't one that you can assess that he isn't a NFL quarterback. That offense, the line and the skill positions, were decimated. The media and team seem to be happy with how he did, so I'll take that as good. He could have gotten pulled and he didn't, that tells me at least he's third QB material right now.
I concur. He didn't light the world on fire, but he didn't allow the Jets secondary to win the game at his expense. That was always going to be the biggest threat, given the state of the Jets offense.
There is always a chance that Tua retires for his health - this offseason, or after the next concussion, or the next. If it happens in the immediate future, though, the draft will not be the answer - the team has to chase after a Garoppolo-level FA.
