Fins entered the 4th quarter against Vegas down 12-6. Bridgewater (10-20, 119) is replaced by Our Guy, who promptly drives the team down the field for their first touchdown of the night.

Second drive, down by 2: another good looking trip down the field, but stalls out in field goal range. Our kicker hits the post, and that's that.

Our Guy finishes 9-10, 129, 1 TD over his two drives. Jim Rose, the Fins radio PBP guy, said he doesn't believe Skylar makes the 53, but he was starting to change his tune during that second drive, after a couple of great throws.

This Jim Rose guy sounds like an idiot. Skylar is looking like QB1 in games. Your other QBs are awful.

I don’t understand this at all. How are you going to draft a guy only to cut him after he impresses in practice and plays great in preseason.

No argument here, of course. I think he assumes the Fins stick with Teddy as the veteran backup, and a 3rd QB on the roster is a luxury they just can't afford.

Usually the ceiling for a 7th round QB is the practice squad, but I don't think he clears waivers if the Fins try that. It would suck for me, but good for Skylar.

Is this the same Jim Rose who used to do the Nebraska play by play and was one of the biggest homers in the history of sport? He was also a huge prick to KSU players every chance he got.
