yeah, i don't think he's likely to make the runoff. he's a carpetbagger and arlington doesn't strike me as likely to love this messaging (though maybe most of the population in the district is south of there, dunno really).

the dead rep's spouse is running and will probably get most republican votes.

My state rep is a manager of a Chili’s. He ran for county commission several times and basically just showed up at ALL the local Kansas/joco GOP functions and brown nosed. When my old state rep took a non political position in the budget office my guy went so hard for that district that he got charged with felony election perjury because he hadn’t actually moved into the district yet.
