Old Chevy Astro for me. Can't help myself.

Edit: Mir is right, we should post pics, especially if we aren't naming years. Someone likes El Caminos, but there were lots of years, so...

Oh no, don't discount your instincts. That car is ugly as eff.

my uncle used to buy used low milage crown vics two at a time for his daily driver because in Michigan you could find such good deals on them, then turn over the old ones for a new batch and basically just only paying for gas and basic maintenance before flipping them.

Would love to have a Datsun truck.  Growing up, a big wheat farmer I worked for had 4 of them, 1 for every tractor.  He had a hitch on every implement and when you moved from field to field you would hitch up the truck to the implement and take it with you.  Then when you were done for the day, drive the Datsun back to the base and then head home.  Rinse and repeat.  Great for running to snag parts and would not have to wait for someone to pick you up at the end of the day or drive the tractor 10 miles back.

Thise things would run forever and were surprisingly good in the mud, probably due to how light they were.

my real dream is a 4wd delica space gear or toyoto hiace, but they are almost impossible to find in petrol and i'm not allowed to register diesel in my area. Plus exportable 25 year ones skyrocket in price

My dad bought an early 80s little Nissan pickup new. I’m sure it was in the first couple years they started phasing out Datsun to Nissan in the US. He kept it as a work run-around truck. I drove it some if my 1985 S-10 was having an issue. He eventually sold it around 2003.  He saw it still driving around Salina a few years ago.

I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport sitting in my garage. It’s Mrs Hamburg’s answer time this question. She swears she’s going to start driving it again when she doesn’t have car seats anymore, yet she never drives it when she’s by herself.

You have done nothing but strengthen my resolve to get one.  Thank you for that, I guess.

Two different 90's convertibles for me. Because I'm not a savage like the rest of you people I'm including pictures. In high school I saw a Chrysler LeBaron convertible, and I fell in love.

There was a girl in my class that got a Mazda Miata when we were still in middle school, it was a 1990 with a rag top and they were the first Miata's sold in America. She had a farmer's license so she could drive at 14, and my class was the last class of 9th graders in middle school in Garden City. Anyway, we were all jealous as hell but she was one of the nicest girls in our class.

have been seriously looking for late 70s Ford Crew Cab truck to turn into a daily driver. It is absolutely insane to me what dentside trucks and even some square body chevy trucks are bringing right now.

I bought an older Crown Vic PI that was a school SRO car at an auction.  Only had 70,000 miles on it.  It should make a great high school car for my daughter.

The only thing I worry about with them getting one for my boys is the engine, a 4.6L V-8 is a lot of gas money and a lot of hp for my idiots.

Can confirm it sucks the gas and runs like a scalded dog.  I may have to de-tune it if she develops a lead foot.  I've had a bit of fun driving it around the last few days though.
