Maybe the evidence that CH is lying is in the same place as the evidence that the election was stolen.

Someone flushed it down the toilet. Had to flush 10 times, 15 times. Disgraceful!

dax, do you think this testimony is not true? or do you doubt any of it?
I have no idea, Steve. If you’ll notice (which is difficult for the high intensity deflection of #blueanonGe).  I am asking if anyone challenged the testimony.   I know this is a lost art because Pelosi and friends love to stack Deflecto theater with true believers. So you guys don’t see many challenges.

How do you challenge someone's testimony when everyone on the committee is a true believer and has no intention of challenging any of the testimony of those that affirm their beliefs

Agreed, and excellent points.

How do you challenge someone's testimony when you aren't given any evidence or reason to believe it's false?

After they answer you scream "are you sure about that"?

Otherwise any non-moron knows you bring in other witnesses who were also present.

I'm guessing they would welcome Meadows or whatever Trumpian to the stand that wants to get up there and refute the statements

This is how you challenge her evidence.

Yeah I think the only people claiming they can refute the testimony so far are asserting their fifth amendment rights.

Quite the pickle.

Thanks to #slowdug for affirming that there's no one on the committee who is willing to challenge any of the testimony.  They all agree.

The attempt to make these hearings analogous to a court room is just the cutest thing.

In a courtroom it is very rare for the judge to start questioning a witness to determine their veracity. The entire system is built around weighing conflicting testimony to arrive at the facts. To my knowledge, no one has expressed willingness to testify contrary to what has been put in so far, so why would the COMMITTEE do that?

 The committee is stacked with Pelosi sycophants.  I know #blueanonGe gets super enraged when anyone asks people who are affirming testifiers on behalf of #blueanon any tough questions.  But this committee is not going to ask anyone that affirms their beliefs a tough question, and the entire committee are true believers.

The inability to recognize this while expected is still a bit unnerving from alleged K-State men/women/people.

The GOP made sure that there was no one on the committee willing to challenge the testimony.

Bucket:  Still the insta-tapout

Sad

I expect nothing less than Bucket siding with Pelosi who clearly wanted to control who was on the committee.

lol - Pelosi didn't give McCarthy everyone he wanted and he stopped anyone else from participating.

Again, the GOP chose not to participate.  If it makes a difference to you that it was after the majority party didn't, for absolutely no reason, concede a lot of power then that's an insane expectation but ok.  They absolutely could've had people challenging the testimony and chose to have this, with the goal of having you could yell about how partisan it is.  It was very much a choice and you're playing your role well.

Much of what Cassidy (who I noticed was NOT wearing a ring on her left hand) said would fall under the rule against hearsay were this a court at law. But it's capable of being admissible evidence, if you subpoena the intermediary witnesses. Did I mention I have a crush on her?

Not to mention rejecting an independent commission to investigate.

Of course #blueanonGe is going to get completely behind the Speaker for picking and choosing who is going to be on select committee's.

Of course #blueanonGe's favorite #neocon immediately rode in to back her leader on the Speakers decision to reject Republican committee selections.

What were Nancy and Liz afraid of (this time)?

Clearly, they were afraid of someone questioning if Ms. Hutchinson can be sure that she cleaned Donald Trump's ketchup from the White House walls or if there was another explanation, such as a 5-year-old throwing a tantrum.

Tapout accepted

Again, I'm glad #blueanon/#blueanonGe is getting their Deflecto Theater to avoid talking about the mentally incapacitated led #shitshow that occupies the White House now.
