says a week before Jan 6 she got texts about being careful (not as threats, but from friends and colleagues)
says when she parked by the Capitol on Jan 4 that protestors were around her car and yelling at her when she got out
says she went to a grocery store on Jan 5 and felt other people in the store were staring at her like they wanted to have a confrontation
says she arrived to the Capitol around 9am on Jan 6
says around 1pm someone slammed on her door as if they were trying to break it down, and her staff member told her to run and hide so she hid in the bathroom but realized she wanted to be in the closet instead but could hear someone in her office so she went back to the bathroom and could hear "Where is she?!"
says she thought that was it, that she was going to die
says she isn't sure how long she hid, finally a capitol police officer helped her get out/leave
says after a little while she wasnt sure if the officer was there to help her or hurt her
says the officer told her to go to a building but wasnt escorted
says she ended up having to go to Katie Porter's office because she couldn't find out where to go
says they barricaded the door with furniture from the office and felt like they needed to change clothes in case she needed to run or blend in with a crowd
says they received an intelligence update while hiding about bombs being in the building
says after a few hours when it calmed down she went to Ayanna Pressley's office and stayed there for the rest of the night
