I saw on the socials that they were either wanting or needing a new QB as soon as Howard announced.

It's crazy that Lincoln Riley lost two good QBs with the announcement of Will Howard's offer.  One of the first schools to court Howard was Ohio State and then it went cold.  I can see why Ryan Day wants him now since they don't have any experience at the QB position.

I think Lara will have to drop down to FCS.  He has zero film to show teams outside of his high school highlights from 3 years ago.  Rubely at least sniffed the field and he is going to Illinois State.

Team can say no.  That is the other side of the portal sword.  Many kids have entered, and their spot was backfilled.  They couldn't go back to former team and didn't have a good landing spot somewhere else.  It's the topic of the portal that isn't talked about much.

not sure what's going on in this specific instance but in some locker rooms I've been in they will have names of the "greats" who used that same locker. the parenthesis around greats is doing a lot of work there obviously if that were the case here. also obviously it's more theoretically "used that same locker" as there is always change in location and construction and whatever with locker rooms.

my first encounter with this was getting to use Brian Goolsby's former locker in Dodge City when we were in town for a HS game one time. it was a pretty damn big deal amongst my teammates as he was pretty much the only dodge city player any of us were aware of despite meade being like 40 miles away.
