yeah he has been. kobe hasn’t said anything on twitter about portaling.

I have heard today that the reason for so many entering the Portal is not of their choosing.  Coaches may be telling them that they don't have any positions and that they would be productive and they would be better off finding another school.  Also, they may be behind a starting player who is only a freshman or sophomore and doesn't see an opportunity to play.  It's not necessarily an opportunity for a large NIL payout.  One thing to note is the majority of athletes in the Portal will go to a lesser team and/or a G5/FCS school.

Didn't Kieman praise RJ Garcia during the '22 season?  IIRC, he said he was very impressive and would be a contributor as a freshman.  Don't know why he would want to leave when we got the top QB of the CK era.  Most receivers' top priority is to play on a team with a skilled and accurate QB.

Other than the rare instances where a kid has an actual falling out with the staff or gets promised cash and playing time at a premier school, these are all the result of guys coming to the conclusion that they’re not going to play as much as they were hoping when they came in (whether or not they were outright told that by the coaches).

I just think he has the opportunity and support from CK and I don't see him as anything other than a first-group receiver.

Sounds like there's still a chance Kobe will stay at KSU  . . . apparently he'd removed the 'K-State DB' from his twitter account and was planning on announcing he was transferring, but now is reconsidering, according to Derek Young
