i think a lot of it is nagging stuff from last season that guys are still recovering from. and being kind of thin at DT already anyway.
haven't recruited DT much (don't need as many numbers in this new system), and we lost that one islander dude and brayden wood.
other than some general (ever present) recruiting/attrition concerns, i don't really view the current injury situation as all that alarming -- at least not this year. i have no clue who is going to be our starting DT next year.
assuming duke gets healthy, i think he and Felix are going to be two of the best pass rushers in the conference, and have one of the best linebackers in the conference playing behind them. matlack should also be a nice piece to spell those guys. honas had a decent track record at nub and should work fine. i think our secondary is going to be decent/good.
all in all, jennings was going to be really helpful, but the loss is covered up a bit by honas.
next year is going to have a ton of new faces. suffice to say, this is a very important year for Klieman to have success, imo.
