If you're getting playing time at THE Kansas state university, then you can play anywhere in the country.
Not a lot of P5’s take in WR’s who can’t catch, but we did! Ungrateful little crap. :curse:

Clyde Price will leave too, probably a few more and then we should be good.

glad I can finally say it: Malik hasn't performed very well this year

It appears I may need to retract this

In that they broke news before it should have? Or that they somehow got Malik to stay?

They didn't report that he was leaving in season, in fact I believe the story, not 100% sure because I'm not a GPC member, says he is out this week due to contact tracing.

Also apparently they have listed the school he's going to transfer to. That's two pieces of very specific info that could only come from a pretty good source.

That Malik Knowles tweet that people are referencing didn't dispute the report.

i don't have any problem with kids transferring. whatever they want to do, go for it.  what i do have a problem with is sean snyder.  and i want to kick his ass.

Cheesy Mustache QB might make an appearance.

Knowles? Hardly knew him.

Coach K better get off his ass and get some immediate help from the portal or JUCO route for 2021. Our WR group is dogshit.

Transferring to a school whos head coach may not have a job after this year, or possibly the next??? Interesting indeed.

Side bar: so glad I was wrong and that we didn't get him.

When Thompson rogers up for his sixth year we'll need somebody to catch the football.

Regardless, recommend we set up a Go-Fund-Me account for Howard to attend Manning's passing camp this offseason.

He supposedly isn't transferring because of anything happening here, but because he needs to be close to home. If people know North Texas already that tells me they've already talked to SMU and it won't work out.

These transfers have caught up to us. We have zero depth. When you have this many transfers in the middle of the season you have a leadership problem both at the coaching level and within the players themselves.

I think this is the Covid effect.  Imagine coming from somewhere else to Manhattan and not being able to go out, party with large groups, go to class, etc.  Would totally suck and you would miss your family and buds.

i dont think we'll miss many of the kids who transferred. none of them were key pieces. im much more interested in our coaches thoughts on ACQUIRING transfers this offseason. we didn't seem very aggressive last year even though it was obvious we needed some. when we did try we mostly failed. much like the snyder staff i think this staff can coach and x/o but i'm not sure thats good enough at KSU. We also need our coaches to be above average recruiters.
i dont think anyone can remotely conclude our coaches are even average recruiters at this point. Until KSU gets recruiters who beat other programs often they will not go where we want to go. its more about jimmy and joes than x's and o's

you're a broken record with this and I agree 100% that recruiting is the most important part of the job but you don't do what they did at NDSU without being above average at recruiting and managing a roster.

You also conveniently forget that we got a likely NFL tight end from the portal this season and a couple nice RB's last year that played huge roles.

We have three times as many players in the portal than anyone else in the league, even more than KU with more to come. This can't even be passed off as cleaning up the culture as it's their players who are leaving, not Snyder's.
