Everyone understands how vaccines work. Prior to the CDC changing of the definition of vaccine, we understood vaccines as providing full blown immunity from a specific disease with only very very rare break through cases of that disease. For the vast majority of people there was not milder symptoms, they were fully immune from (insert disease here).
The President of the United States doesn't get a pass in the middle of a pandemic for being a vaccine misinformation machine and not understanding that his own CDC had redefined vaccine.
