Until we get a handle on fuel costs, I don't see the inflation demon going away. I've had to bump our trucking costs by 30% to try and keep up with fuel costs as I know others have as well. As much as people want to wave a magic wand and make the reliance on fossil fuels go away, I don't see it happening any time soon until someone develops electric trucks (semis and large pickups) that have a reasonable range for allowed hours of service and electric construction and farm equipment that can perform somewhat equivalent to what we have now.
