Shitshow - shitshowing

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/afghanistan-withdrawal-investigation-abbey-gate-attack/

https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2022/02/08/afghanistan-evacuation-investigation/

Senior White House and State Department officials failed to grasp the Taliban’s steady advance on Afghanistan’s capital and resisted efforts by U.S. military leaders to prepare the evacuation of embassy personnel and Afghan allies weeks before Kabul’s fall, placing American troops ordered to carry out the withdrawal in greater danger, according to sworn testimony from multiple commanders involved in the operation.

Mid-terms will decide if the Clown President is impeached.

This one is just way too easy.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

2/11/22:  #blueanonGe unwraps themselves from the flag of 'Merica in order to support a politician (as they often do)

eff off U.S. military, we're supporting our guy Joe!! (#blueanonGe)

Tomorrow #blueanonGe will re-wrap themselves in the flag when Joe sends the bombers in to take out another sand hut in a 3rd world country

Dax I’m not sure anyone on this board was against Trump promising to withdraw troops either other than maybe Kat Kid who I think has openly supported hanging all living presidents.

This really has nothing to do with withdrawing and everything to do with the total administrative and managerial clusterfuck our executive branch and their alleged intelligence partners were during the withdrawal.

I expected nothing less from #blueanonGe to circle the wagons around their guy, Joe Biden.    Even more    is #blueanonGe's clear cut support of a President who clearly has no intention of doing better in these types of processes, thus the collective double bird to our men/women in uniform.

it's weird how biden is the most pacifist, non-interventionist president* in probably 90 years or so, and neither the far left or the far right can shift their rhetoric or their worldview to encompass this fact.

* - i believe in pax americana.  i think this is bad.

Old-school progressives and libertarians that I've seen have all seemed supportive of Biden's pro-peace moves, despite the difficulties. It's the neolibs, neocons and corporate press who find common ground bemoaning things like the withdrawal from Afghanistan. MAGAs joined the hatred chorus, but that's just them hating Biden. If it were Trump who actually pulled us out they'd be throwing their panties on the stage for him.
If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

Senator Joe Biden, on top of being a huge racist helped usher the United States into multiple wars.

He doesn’t get a pass just because in a year he hasn’t started any net new wars (yet).

Oh and LOL @sysbot.   Trump tried to get us out of the insanity in Syria - #blueanonNeoCon’s and the Cheney Wing lost their mind.   Just like the #blueanonNeocon’s did everything  they could legislatively to prevent Trump from exiting Afghanistan.

To date Biden’s talk on Yemen is all theatre, backed by little to no diplomacy and more weapons sales and US defense contractor assistance to the Saudi military.
