I helped create incarceration nation . . .and 26 years later I'm going to help tear it down . . . iPOTUS Biden

Sadly, the majority of the easily manipulated ProgFacist simpletons, and that would include all on here are going to and have given iPOTUS Biden a free pass for playing a pivotal role in creating incarceration nation.

I do agree that hard charging former prosecutor Kamala "puts parents of sick kids in jail" Harris is probably extremely pissed.

Possible reversing EO when she becomes president?

It’s ok to change direction on something you previously did wrong.

Where did I say it wasn't?

Only a very small minority of lefties have called out Joe and his role in the creation of incarceration nation.

Now after hundreds of thousands of have been needlessly imprisoned over the last quarter century he takes a tiny little step by stopping private prisons.

iPOTUS "I do what the earpiece says" Biden starts out 0 for 1 in the courts.

All-the-while he's adding to the unemployment rolls by the thousands.

All for ending private prisons. It's evil and should be illegal. Do the feds have to honor any existing contracts or can they stop right away?

Only extreme simpletons (so, waks) think that destroying energy jobs (for your buddy Warren Buffet's railroad, congrats to Carl Ice as well) is the same as prison jobs.

Congrats, Joe. You've saved the day with an 8% reduction in prison population. Oh, wait. He's not eliminating their sentence. It's just where they're held.

As if iPOTUS Joe's incarceration nation hadn't burdened the prison system enough.

Those were mostly just temporary jobs, Dax. The private prison jobs were full-time thanks to Incarceration Nation.

The capital products needed to produce the materials were not temp jobs.

But again, congrats to Warren Buffet (huge Dem benefactor) and Carl Ice and others in the railroad industry.

It was about 35 energy jobs.

Yeah, just 35 total jobs.

It was 11,000 people working 3,900 total jobs, but 10,965 of those people wouldn't have been seeing any pay from TC Energy Corp 2 years from now.

Profound, so you're saying construction jobs don't last forever and the industry and personnel in it aren't aware of that.  So canceling projects is good.

Check-Got it

Yes, but that’s also not really the point.

Commuting sentences is definitely the next step needed

I whole heartily agree. Time will tell if that is the plan. Otherwise, the federal private prison contract thing is just lip service.

First, I'm for getting lots of people out of jail that don't need to be there, but that's a separate issue under the large criminal justice umbrella.

Stopping the treatment of prisoners as commodities is good. There don't need to be further qualifiers.
