What does this have to do with biden?
Quote from: MakeItRain on January 04, 2021, 10:10:34 PMVons and Albertsons stores in California just laid off every one of their full-time, union delivery drivers, and will replace them with DoorDash gig workers who receive no benefits as a direct result of Prop 22. https://t.co/HLnc2HrkvW— Adam Conover (@adamconover) January 4, 2021that story is just flat out dishonest. there was nothing that would have stopped those stores from outsourcing deliveries prior to prop 22, and nothing in prop 22 alters their ability to do so.ab5 has been a disaster for ca dems, and this sort of dishonest messaging instead of recognizing that they mumped up and need to fix it will hurt them even more.

Now not having a statement from Albertsons affirming or denying what is being alleged here, I'm having a hard time coming up with a different conclusion than what the author here is trying lead the reader to. Why would they outsource the jobs if the gig workers were able to unionize? It seemingly wouldn't save them a dime so what would the motivation for outsourcing be?
Amazing: in a year of anti-police protests - punctuated by calls to defund them - we have a President-elect who authored the 1994 crime bill, a VP-elect who was a career prosecutor notorious for harsh punishments, & now a fanatically pro-police AG:https://t.co/qxqzQxCBUB— Glenn Greenwald (@ggreenwald) January 6, 2021

What does successful engagement with China entail for conservatives (or just in general)?
