They’re just going to “that’s not how economics works!” Their way through the next two years.
I'm glad we chose spending over suffering. And I will definitely vote to do so again.
The student debt will be the new worst idea
you know what would slow down this scorcher of an inflation number? ADDING $10k in student loan debt to every citizen. I think I may have just solved this thing folks.

So this won't affect us 1%'ers.
To me it proves they are affected by the same things our economy is being affected by. These are global supply chain issues, the war in Ukraine and too much government spending/monetary stimulus. If we had done less government spending, especially spending that was funded by borrowing, we would have less inflation. The spending done as part of the ARP was particularly inflationary as aggregate demand had largely recovered when it was implemented. Biden should be held responsible for this.
The ARP was completely unnecessary. Some of the stuff in 2020 was fine. The PPP was a complete dud.

Billions upon billions lost in fraud. Untold billions that went to businesses that did not shut down or have any reason to shut down. The only people in these businesses that got money were the business owners and employees got nothing extra.
