You know multiple lawyers who like to relive high school all the time by talking about a Rodney Dangerfield movie about college?

Your world is just a hellscape of weird awkwardness.  my thoughts are with you now and forever.

I suppose we're going to need to start a new iPOTUS Biden thread since #blueanonGe is in full deflection mode.

Hopefully any remaining U.S. citizens and friends of America can make it to Bagram before Joe's final wheels up.

-Total miscalculation on the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban - Check
-Outright lies about the capability of the ANA - Check
-Leaving ANA holding the bag in the middle of the night while deserting the best point of egress in the country - Check
-Terrible initial communication with our NATO partners - Check
-Relying on NATO partners to assist on rescuing U.S. Citizens - Check
-Leaving hundreds of millions of dollars of weapons for the Taliban including millions upon millions of rounds of ammo.  Also helicopters and drones- Check  (You have to ask if that was intentional) - Check
-Leaving biometric assets and systems behind that will allow the Taliban to better ID indigenous partners - Check (You have to ask if that was intentional) - Check

I didn’t mean the choice to be arbitrary. Assuming Biden is simply incompetent in this area (which I would believe), leaving now and in the way we did could still objectively be the right decision when the alternative is waiting for another president to do it.

That second part is obviously a generous assumption, given that we haven’t had another president even sincerely try it in like 20 years, much less there being any indication it would go smoother in someone else’s hands.

i don't think leaving in the way we are leaving could be the objectively right decision, but it's certainly possible that a past or future exit could go or could have gone worse.
This is mealy mouthed horse crap.

You want to take the position that Biden leaving was bad and just kind of gesture at the chaos of losing a war and take absolutely zero time to even address what was happening for the previous 20 years not what the game plan was for the next 20.

It is cowardly to hide behind the pictures of afghanis suffering in the last two weeks and act like a single rough ridin' crap had been given about the Afghani people for the last 10 years about this topic by anyone here. Go ahead and prove me wrong.

Sorry the afghanistan national military after trillions of dollars and untold hundreds of thousands of man hours of training and funding and outfitting didn’t give a eff and our puppet jetted town with millions of dollars.

Fine to blame Biden, but to be lectured by the likes of Tony rough ridin' Blair about this is some foreign policy disaster is too much to go unconnected upon. You are on the wrong side here.

I know you’re just terrible at this, but I’m just curious how you extrapolate a complete clusterfuck of a withdrawal into wanting perpetual war.

I suppose it’s only the weird mind of Lick.

LOL, you're the one that never says anything of merit besides to try and say the opposite of me no matter how conjured up and weird.

Leaving behind biometric gear in the hands of the Taliban (one example) is worthy of a massive congressional hearing and people getting fired.    There's literally no excuse for that.   There's every leg to stand on relative to trying to find out if it was done on purpose.

What a perfect scenario for our bud Dax.  Gets what he wants with us getting out of there and gets to blame the other party for what everybody else understands would have been a total shitshow no matter the president's party.  Glad he got this after 4 years of standing by a reality tv star president.

Your guy lost the New York Times.   I’m sure you didn’t even bother to read the article I posted.

Not a soul thought this thing was going to run like a Audemars Piquet.   But your guy has stood up there and flat out lied with thousands of American lives on the line, massive strategic missteps and horrible initial communication with our Afghani and NATO allies.   This has been outlined repeatedly.

This isn’t a pandemic with a still unknown origin and with the smartest people in the world still flailing about nearly 2 years in trying to figure it out.    The most expensive intelligence/military complex on the planet has had years to understand what was going on and your guy lead a flub of the most basic basics.
