The only one of them that I even dislike is Trump. They all made some really bad decisions but I believe the other three acted in good faith and do/did what they legitimately thought the virtuous thing to do was.

Imagine propping up the ANA while ordering your commanders and troops to leave Bagram Airbase without even telling their ANA partners that the US was deserting Bagram literally over night. Nothing inspires confidence in the mission ahead then your partners sneaking out the back without even so much as a goodbye kiss.

Imagine completely abandoning the only point of egress with substantial capacity to do the job that needed to be done.

As my Marine friends, two of which have been involved in evacuating upwards of 20k Americans out of foreign countries have said. It’s the singular biggest clusterfuck they’ve ever seen in their lives.
