Where did I say anything about choosing policies with life alternating or life ending results?

the career politician you choose helps determine policies for your town, county, state or country.

Were normal people under the impression that wealthy people pay taxes? This isn’t a “Trump” thing this is a tax policy thing.

What is your disagreement?

i thought i was pretty clear in my previous post.  you said something that was clearly and demonstrably false.  you implied that not believing your false statement was naive.  i disagree with both of those things.

k, i could've been more clear that i wasn't saying wealthy people never pay taxes. i don't think anyone was actually confused by that.

That 43% and 46% are of ALL VOTERS, why would I care what Republicans think?

1.  because you said "the american public clearly supports", not "democratic primary participants clearly support"
2.  because nothing is getting passed into law without broad public support.

Either you're being very hypocritical or you didn't read anything either you or I posted.

i'm many things, but hypocritical is seldom among them and i read all three of your links as well as the article i linked.  support among the general public is both the claim i responded to as well as the relevant metric for evaluating biden's calibration as a candidate in the general election, which is the framework that kicked off this discussion.

What does blowing up the normal 2 party system have to do with that? A lot better than the career politician that says flip flop flippity flop. They are all about themself

Get way too many multigenerational career this or that voters with no clue. Guess that makes for funny videos on late night shows and YouTube though

In lieu of a contextual merry-go-round I'll just dip here and acknowledge that we disagree.

He has been quiet lately.  I'm sure he'll make a triumphant return to the Pit later tonight when Biden says something dumb in the debate.

Drumpf being one of the worst businessmen in history and a huge tax cheat killed Dax.

he's just recalibrating, remember hillary did things too! And worse (but not really).

It is funny to me that people have ever thought he was a good businessman, goddamn the apprentice, seriously. Tons of docs (dirty money, trump: an American dream, hell, interviews with Ivanka with her saying her dad was in a bad spot back in the early 90s, all the stuff John Oliver digs up which isn't all the surprising) all reinforce just how shitty of a businessman he is, and how often he screws people over. It's such wash rinse repeat and the fact it works is probably just as infuriating as any of his "policies" he has.

His failures with the farmers, his failures with China, his failures with the pandemic, his failures with the economy and taxes, his fanning of the flames with the racial stuff, to me are a mere backdrop to his utter failure of the core of what he says he is, a successful businessman. I hated him and could see the farce he was since the apprentice, the gliding down the escalator was like "are you serious" moment. It's been a continual crap show since. He's always been a clown to me, just became more dire when he like actually wanted to do something with his clown show.

I know some of you are super obsessed with me.

But I was traveling, and Mrs. Dax is also recovering from 4 days in the MICU (non Covid related) and it's been the end of our sales month, and the end/beginning of a FFY, and some of our Federal agencies procrastinate.

So continue raging on without me for awhile.
