What does the United States look like on September 22nd, 2020:
* Did you get it?No but my wife did. She's always more susceptible to getting sick
* What sports are being planned in what configuration (no fans, etc)NFL - no fans
Baseball, short schedule / playoffs
NBA/NHL starting in January, limited fans
No college sports
* Are all/some schools back in person sessionSome
* Is your work experience back to fairly normal? Feels pretty much like it did in January 2020.Not really, still primarily working remotely, maybe in the office once a week. No in-person client meetings until 2021
* What did your summer travel end up being? Take a flight?No flights, likely visit family / in-laws at some point
* Do you have any plans to travel the rest of 2020?Hopeful to go hunting in South Dakota in October, see family for TG and Xmas. Chiefs away game on the wish list if it is feasible at the time.
* How many US deaths?200,000
* Do we have a national plan of action for tracing, quarantining any flareups? national? no
* Any major political changes?no
* Where are we on a vaccine? antibody test? infection test?Vaccine still a 9 months - 1 year out. Testing will be better, but still limited. Maybe a million infection tests a day, hopefully more reliably accurate. Antibody testing more limited.
* Is there some sort of "miracle" therapeutic in action knocking down how impactful this is?Likely seeing some effective treatment beginning
* Have your favorite restaurants went out of business?Too many of them have. Ones with strong neighborhood ties, and low rents or self owned buildings will be alive
