Been great so far, honestly probably the first show I've watched live in forever. So many great quotes so far too

Caught up with the espn app this week.

1) it's really jarring to see Jordan playing in college without a 3 point line. I don't think of him being that old.

2) present day Rodman is near unintelligible, really reminds me of mumbling Rick James on Chappelle

3) Phil Jackson has to be one of the chillest dudes ever, I would love to know him

It’s been awesome. If they put all the episodes out at once I would have stayed up until 6AM watching them all.

If there was a gif of nicname thwarting the attempted-flag-taker and then gesturing him to suck it, followed by motioning for all of Hilton Shelter to boo him louder, it'd be better than that auburn gif.

I really enjoy the enduring hate between Jordan and Zeke that seems to endure (at least on MJ's part) to this day.

I think it was episode 3 or 4 when they played Thomas' talking about not shaking hands after the Bulls finally kicked Detroit's ass, and MJ was like "yeah, he can say what he wants, but he's still an bad person."

Thomas always seemed like a phony/ bad person to me.

Hard to fake the "good guy" persona forever.

This article from 2010 isn't worth reading, but it does have Thomas as the No. 1 MHOAT NBA player.

I should add that I wasn't even a Jordan/Bulls fan. They were like the Patriots to me. Was ready to see them lose. I think People who watched Jordan in the Mid-80s have a different perspective on him than us kids who grew up with Jordan and the Bulls winning every year.

I had a back-2-back pistons shirt that I think I stole from my dad who was a bad boys era pistons fan for whatever reason. Prob why I liked Isiah too.

There was a Run TMC cartoon shirt that was popular with townies. I failed to find that image, but did find this phenomenal portrait!

I think calling Zeke a fake nice guy is an unfair characterization. All of the issues that MJ, Magic, and Bird had with him had to do with on court crap.

i'd say because he's smaller, his smile, and his soft, calm voice are probably reasons.  i honestly didn't know anything about the bad boys growing up, was slightly too young in their prime.  do enjoy hearing these stories.

90s NBA was awesome. 2000s NBA was pretty good. 2010s NBA was great. Current NBA is different, but still good/great.

I really think the NBA is the most fun pro sports league out there. It really is fantastic.
