Off Butler Warren Road.. in between Autumn Lane and Charming Manor.. back by the pond there has been a little white dog running around! I tried to go over to him/her but ran away to the other side of the pond. Looks like maybe a white/tan Shih Tzu!!

I wish I could just grab a bunch of crawdads out of my back yard.

I think the lost dog ones are funny because I can't imagine they are nearly as helpful as they are intended to be.

Same exact thing happened to me in Red Dead Redemption 2. You have to slowly approach it, calm it down, and then hop on for a wild ride.

I joined NextDoor because of this thread and my neighborhood is boring as crap.
Mine too. People worried about coyotes and loose dogs. Nothing juicy.

They live in the dirt.

Oh, I used to catch them in a creek. I figured they just stayed in water.
Yeah, I mean, they love rocks and crap but in the South they really like mud. I went craw fishing with my bro once in Louisiana. I saw like a lobster looking one at a lake in Colorado once too.

Just added it. Had one about residents having strangers dump their trash in their trash cans. The most divisive one has been about a strange car parked in front of someone's house for three weeks.

We had someone that was very concerned with people's trampolines being properly anchored.  Seemed like an odd concern.

Does anyone know any local shops selling for curbside pickup or delivery that carry shampoo or conditioner bars? I don't want to get something in a plastic bottle, but I am running out of both and want to support local if I can. Happy Earth Day! Enjoy the clean air benefit we are currently having.
****Update— the bar, solid, aspect of this post is really important— if I wanted shampoo in a bottle I can easily order it with my groceries from Safeway. Earth Day I want to change practice*****

Waldo actually has a soap store and it's been very popular for people to post the gallon jugs of soap they buy from there to the Facebook group

We are very concerned about our pool time.

Quote
No camp, swimming, or sports for the kids this summer. Is everyone ok with this? Not sure if it applies to neighnorhood pools but DeWine did announce no pools can open.

I missed the live today. He said no camps, swimming, or sports? Private pools should not be applicable, only public

Well there’s no way in hell he’s keeping me from opening my own pool!

Any pool that multiple families use should be closed for a lil longer there are a lot of germs there

Of course personal pools can open!

Personal yes but what about neighborhood pools and Ymca's?

those aren’t personal, so according to your post the answer is those aren’t opening? I didn’t watch today because I’m way deep into a dumb Netflix series.

HOA pools will be decided by the Ohio Board of Health

right! I think we are just going to our lake house for an extended period of time

Not everyone has a lake hpuse lol. While your gone I hope these kids with nothing to do dont break into your home.

I don’t think it was a way of showing off or anything. We were just having some fun.

Well there’s no way in hell he’s keeping me from opening my own pool!

Hell! My pool has been open since the end of March and no one can make me close it expect for Mother Nature

Your own personal pool in your backyard is not part of the closure.

I am sure neighborhood pools may possibly open. We will know for sure in 2 weeks. Ours already has water in it.

Y'all do realize there are poor working families in West Chester Right? If not you will this summer when these kids start roaming your hood.

Ohio Board of Health decides for HOA pools

keeping fingers crossed neighborhood pools can open

Cincinnati public city pools already announced that when the virus first hit, I guess there will be a run on kiddie pools better buy them up now

Have you ever been to the city? The poor neighborhoods that have 100s of kids living on top of each other. If they can play in a dirty baby pool why shouldn't they be allowed to swim in a public pool?

Thete are 23 Rec Centers in the city. Cincy Public has 35,000 students. 80% live in poverty. This is not good.

makes for a long sad summer

I read online that 38% live in poverty.

He is coming out with his plan on Monday. He said that today???? If sweaty gyms are possibly opening so should pools.

I was proactive this year and bought all the kids new swimsuits and swim shoes back in Feb. The one year I buy early and pools can’t open

HOA pools should be open. We pay for that privilege.

DeWine did not make this announcement today. Please cite where you are getting this info.

Yeah, that was never said during his press conference. Please don’t put out false information! Do your research before you decide to post anything on a community page on social media.

I like to think this was satire and it probably was!

Fly Fisherman Spotted!!!

As I was on my evening walk through the beautiful Lincoln park yesterday, I stumbled upon a fella who was in the grass fly fishing. This is UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR!!! We are in a state wide quarantine the last thing anybody should be doing is fly fishing on grass. Did he think he was going to catch a fish?? Please everybody let’s stay indoors! I have already reported this guy to XPD.

As long as no one was around to get hurt, who cares? Large open space -what's the big deal?

Quote from: OP
AS LONG AS NO ONE WAS AROUND?!?! The entire field was covered with children. What if a child was hooked? Thats even more of a reason why this was INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR!!!
