i think it would take trump and the dude who has been Q holding a joint press conference swearing on their life that there was never any truth to any of it to reign most of them back into normal rational thinking. you'd still have 30% think that the press conference was part of it and it would keep going.

there has to be a way they can save face with family/friends.  This isn't like now being embarrassed by trump because lots of people got conned.  Q ia a unique con because tons of people said that is simply crazy, and the promised results kept getting delayed and never happened but they stayed strong.  Now, if you are a Q you'd basically have to say "yes, I am an incredibly stupid person"

the people in it don't feel stupid though and they certainly don't want out. they'll move the bar or move onto something equally as ridiculous with the same people. maybe biden is in on it as well or trump installed some loyalists before he left.
