This actually doesn't hold up for me. We had a couple get accepted intro the AFA and a few more high achievers who ended up in the service, one of which was KIA. I'm of the age where some good people enlisted after 9/11. I think growing up in a place that held service in high regard also assisted with this. The military recruiters worked our high school hard. I remember having to take the asvab and being insulted by it. My dad was drafted, and retired as a drill sergeant, he banned his children from enlisting.

I remember talking to a recruiter for (I forget what branch) the military when I was in high school. He told me my ACT score was too high for him to waste his time.

I am going to be blunt here when I say after the 6th didn't go the way we hoped it would (Pence not doing his job) I have been in a funk. My GF even asked me last night what was wrong, I looked sad. I told her I was afraid of a Biden presidency especially with a D controlled House and Senate. I keep reading these posts, and tweets, and I wish I could remain as confident as you all.

Anyways, just wanted to get that off my chest. I sit back and hope and pray that by the 20th Trump will somehow be inaugurated.
