Got the second dose of my Moderna chip installed this morning. It was very poignant and bittersweet for me as the wonderful nurse who gave me the jab lost her mom to COVID 3 months ago. Here's to more shots in arms and a day when nobody is losing their loved ones or their health from COVID. Will keep the board updated on any symptoms from the second dose.

ER nurse friend of mine avoided Covid for a year, then managed to get it this week, 3 weeks after his second chip. Mild symptoms, but pretty rotten luck. Father in law has had mild symptoms since Sunday, tested positive Thursday, but seems to have the bad cold version, so that’s good.

Obviously no way to tell for sure but wonder if symptoms are much less based on getting vaccinated.

My grandparents are 80 and get their first dose on the 9th. Parents just got their first doses which is weird because they both obviously had it about as bad as you can get it and not die already but happy they got it anyway in case it helps.

Nope. Just hanging out at home with the fam when I’m not at work. We are going to have some friends who have also recovered from Covid over to watch the Super Bowl tomorrow.

It would certainly seem that way given the zero (near zero?) hospitalization rate for those who got chipped so far

Mother in law also tested positive, lost sense of taste and smell this morning.
