Absolutely. I balled my way through the rona with NyQuil / DayQuil. Also, get the steroids to zap your lung inflammation.

This is how I'm working it. Into day four and feeling pretty good. Had chills and fever evening of day one, but since just been like a head cold. Slight headache, a bit of a cough and congestion. I have asthma but I have had zero breathing issues.

My cough is much better so I haven't had much problem sleeping. In fact, all I want to do is sleep.  My wife just tested my blood oxygen level and it's 92% so she's making me stay away and sit in a chair. I would prefer to just go back to sleep.

Ya. I slept a ton during the first week. 8-10 hours a night. Couple of 2-3 hour naps each day as well.

Sister tested positive today. Texted her this weekend, she said she felt like she had a bit of head cold, talked to her today, she said other than unable to smell, and some weird different symptoms since the weekend that came and went at different times (head ache, sore throat, some swelling in her neck)  she's more or less alright and it's mild. She sounded good on the phone so that's a relief, if I didn't know what she had it sounded like she had some allergies/sniffles.

The smell and taste symptoms are really weird. Mrs SSOC tested positive  2 months ago  and her smeller is still only back to 25% or so.

My mom just called to tell us that my great aunt who i just saw two weeks ago was diagnosed with covid this morning. Good news is that she got it from a co worker in OKC, bad news is that she is in the 65-75 demographic.

one is back to about 80% energy levels but that's the only remaining symptom. the other will be on oxygen for the rest of their life and possibly won't be able to care for themselves without daily check ins for the remainder as well. could potentially be a candidate for a lung transplant but further testing needed. you know them so you know how they were prior to getting it. it's an awful disease.

weirdly neither ever lost their sense of taste or smell.

first day back to work was yesterday.. wife wouldn't let me go workout. 
she was probably right though I was pretty bushed by the end of the day and thats with a comfy, cozy office job

The amount of lung damage this causes for some people is incredible.

Mrs SSOC has some friends who are in their early 70s who got infected back in early Nov at basically the same time we did. The wife felt pretty horrible but didn't have to be hospitalized. Her husband was hospitalized twice - first with severe hypoxia (barely managed to avoid going on a vent) and then a few days after discharge from the original hospital stay with a huge pulmonary embolism. Mrs SSOC went over to help them clean their house yesterday (because that is still exhausting for them) and said that he is finally off of O2 but looks like he has aged about 15 years in 2 months. He was a very active guy - still working full time when he got sick.

yeah, I've noted it here before or in the other thread but my parents are in their mid 60s. very active, no comorbidities. 2.5 months in ICU for one. got the call twice to get there immediately because it was probably the end. not real fun 5 hour drives to make. only time we were allowed in to see them. we are trying to stay grateful that they survived and hoping to see small improvements as they work to get back. but, can only make so much improvement with lung damage.
