a high school classmate of mine is now a dentist and he just listed his house on zillow for over $1 million. real look in the mirror and think about my life choices type moment for me
You know which school he went to? UMKC? Just curious if he got out of the Midwest for school. Closest we have around here is UMKC, Creighton, Oklahoma, and Saint Louis.

Interesting. I forget about them. I've never really even talked to a Dentist from there tbh. Geography makes sense.

Being a dentist sounds terrible. Don't they still have the highest suicide rate among professions?

Just go on and be a dentist then.

I'd let Wackycat69, DDS order me some whitening trays at a huge mark up

They make an assload of money all things considered.  No ones life is your hands, it requires way less training than being an actual doctor so you start earning money/retirement earlier in life.  Definitely less prestige though.  It’s a job people do purely for money, but that’s like 95% of jobs so...

I just got back from a dentist appointment this morning. I didn't really feel apprehensive about going because I figured everything was going to be super-sanitary...

...and boy was I right. Guys, they made me rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide before my cleaning. I've never put peroxide in my mouth before, and boy oh boy does it leave a super shitty aftertaste in your mouth.  :Yuck:

One of my dad's old man friends is a retired dentist and he was the type who dipped into the medical coke and banged all the assistants. Even at 70+ he always has 2-3 "girlfriends" he completely supports

OMG, they bang their assistants ALL the time. I believe they have a higher divorce rate than most professions as well.

Everything I know about dentists I learned from Bad Bosses.  Jennifer Anniston was a tyrant.

I'm reading a book about some dudes who made billions via the stock market. They had rucurring worries about who was losing the money that they were making. To make themselves feel less guilty, they'd always rationalize it as a bunch of dentists. Lol.

Big HVAC is making a killing with dentists opening. They're are buying all kinds of high dollar purification and filtration products. Thank you cdc guidelines!
