This is fun (also very easy)

10/18 the first time 15/18 the second time. This is going to be a big time waster for me.

not sure why mine asked 19 instead of 18 but 12/19 first time, I don't think I ever clicked on trump quicker when a cornfield showed up

New York is hard! I got Staten Island and though I knew it was MAGA-y I didn't realize just HOW MAGA-y it was. I got Kansas quite a bit which is super pud. fun activity

I struggled with the photos from Pennsylvania. Got most of everything else correct and finished 16/21.

It changes every time! You can do it all day!

I think Ohio was pretty unpredictable too, if anything for how Trumpy they were

I'm not good. This is my emerging strategy.

Biden:

  More urban
Suburb that looks like it has a Whole Foods not far away
75+ year-old larger, well maintained houses

Trump:

  More rural

Seem like they can go either way:

  Suburbs with 10-40 year-old houses
Neighborhoods with 60+ year-old not that well maintained houses

it is definitely not as easy i as it seemed in my first go-round. i had one neighborhood of beautiful Victorians and an ocean with a large suspension bridge in the background, and i had no idea if it was the atlantic or pacific. turns out it was michigan!  :sdeek:

I would amend the 'burbs a bit to in general decently well maintained older houses regardless of size is Biden, where the whole foods comment I think hold pretty true for the bigger homes, I did for example nail a very affluent suburban as Biden, and also nailed a more rural looking suburb as trump, the key I think it looking at  the # of trees and just how nice the houses are.

I've been getting a high percentage on Biden when there are West Coast looking trees.

I basically looked for things like chain link fencing and run down homes to determine Trumpland. Also old trees vs new trees. Pennsylvania threw me off because they have some nice looking homes with old trees in their Trumpland.

Lack of sidewalks is a pretty good indicator of Trump

I got Junction City!

Did you recognize it? Trying to identify the actual places is much more fun for me. As far as the actual exercise goes the suburbs are hard for me and i'm awful with ones that are clearly in the Southwest. I want to answer Biden on all of them and all of them I'm wrong.

Not at all. I didn't recognize Wichita either and guessed Trump when it was Biden.

The photo could be of a "Welcome to Wichita" sign and I would guess Trump.

Well for a lot of districts in Wichita, you'd be right, especially on the far east, west, and south sides of ICT where you'd see a Welcome to Wichita sign. Wichita's north side, not at all trump country, that's where my people are.
