I'm sure all the parents of the thousands of dead service members from previous administrations, to a person, loved the president that sent their son or daughter off to die in the sand or over a worthless POS pile of rocks.  Where we've been for 20 years now with no end in sight as long as the Party of Perpetual War goes all Dick Cheney every time Trump talks about getting out of there.

I certainly agree there are a number of officers who could benefit career wise by a deployment AND who would be willing to risk their safety for that opportunity.  But the poll didn't cover only those people.  Military Times states it polled 1000 or so active duty, and for the first time in a long time they said trump is a rough ridin' dope with a huge gross fat stomach that makes everyone barf and they prefer Biden.

There are probably a few that would, but the vast, vast majority want to live and their soldiers to live and not be horribly maimed but magas are especially dumb on this subject.  Like, next level stupid and can't fathom that the military as currently compromised thinks trump is a complete fat loser with no courage or brains.
