Bernie lost because the mod squad suicide bombed him.

i don't know how a person can type this with a straight face.

I don't agree with that, but it sure in the hell didn't help. Biden was still getting his ass kicked going into Super Tuesday. I'm not sure if Bernie wins if the field didn't capitulate all at once, but I'm very sure Biden wouldn't have. If we're on a continuum that's certainly more right than Bernie lost because people don't like his policies.

We have enough evidence to show that people are generally misinformed about who they vote for and more frequently than not, vote against their own interests.

It's worth pointing out that the AZ GOP is responding to one of Jacob Wohl's grifter friends in that first tweet.

TX AG Ken Paxton (previously arrested and indicted on multiple felony charges) just filed a suit straight to the Supreme Court seeking to overturn the election.

I don’t think it would be a stretch to call him among the biggest POS to ever hold a TX statewide office.

My memory is fuzzy on this (and I may have misunderstood it the first time), but at least in some states when you register to run for President you provide a list of your electors if you win, so basically a vote for you is a vote for those people to appear at the electoral college vote.

So basically I think Miller is saying Trump’s electors are going to meet and cast their votes in favor of Trump, which is basically their entire job. Just so happens it means absolutely nothing if you don’t win the statewide vote.

Yeah, but not all states do it the same?  thus faithless electors can happen?

Faithless electors happen because even if you get “your guys” one of them can still decide to go rogue (which, when it happens is almost always when they’re sure it won’t affect the results so they just want to make some stupid statement).

The main difference between states is in how they treat faithless electors. Some impose criminal sanctions, and I think others make it literally impossible to vote against the candidate by automatically replacing them until they vote how they’re supposed to.

Not positive about that second one but I think I read it at one point.

In conclusion: the electoral college is very dumb.

How many times will Republican voters get caught committing voter fraud before the party realizes that making voter fraud a cause celebre only hurts them?

It doesn’t hurt them be because the cases will always be so sparse, people can care about and ignore whichever ones they want. Democrats think Republicans commit more voter fraud and Republicans think Democrats commit more. I don’t see that ever changing.
