But for real, at least in my world, Whataburger is great, as far as fast food burger joints go. I get annoyed at the 15 minutes it takes them to give you a burger, so maybe I have it once a year. Couldn't tell you the last time I ate at Sonic. I always thought they were stronger in the beverage and ice cream space than the food space, though I would suck on chili dogs, given the chance. Oh well, life goes on.

My philosophy is that half of breakfast foods are sweet anyway so why the hell shouldn't cherry pie be an acceptable breakfast. It's a pastry and a fruit for gods sake

I went in a QT today that is piloting chicken strips & mozz sticks on the ready to eat racks. I filled a little cup up with chipotle sauce to dip the strips in. Both were high quality. The mozz sticks were close to base Sonic quality, but not as hot/fresh. Sonic has melting the cheese inside to mozz stick down to a science.

Mrs SF had a bad day at work yesterday so we fed the kids and went to a brewery. I had 3 beers and some chips for dinner, which is pretty trash canny on a Wednesday for me anyway. Didn't buy anything or plan a random trip, so that was pretty nice.

My brother in law is doing the 999 challenge at a royals game as part of his pre fantasy football games that determine their draft position.

Nine beers/dogs before the end of 9 innings of baseball.

This reminds me of a Royals spring training game I went to a few years ago.  Dude sitting right in front of us (in the first row right behind home plate) was legit about 1/3 of the way through this challenge before the first pitch was thrown.  It was an impressive sight to behold, and all the vendors looked like they knew not to get too far away because their services would be needed frequently.
