I sometimes feel guilty for looking at the brightside that this is going to assist social security in staying viable by taking out the magas and unhealthy who most definitely use more than an average $$ amount of services.

If you think someone is getting above average amounts of Social Security, that means they were an above average earner while working.

Medicare is a different story.

The US life expectancy was already trending downward and lagging behind that of other rich countries. Covid will seemingly not help with that.

so those that want to work remote forever have an incentive to not get a vaxx (or at least not report it).  I understand companies doing that but seems to backfire.

you could unless your company will fire you for not being able to come into the office

When is next booster?  Is it at the point of once every 12 months now?

SF authorized a second booster for J&J folks. I don't know why you continue to stress on this, just wait and see what happens and get the booster when science says it makes sense. I got my booster when I got a flu shot and if that becomes the norm it shouldn't be an issue for non-morons.

I just saw a headline yesterday that said 4th for immunocompromised but not thinking it would be needed for others?  I'm sure variants could/will change that?

Yeah, dropped 1.5 years from 2019 to 2020.

https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/nchs_press_releases/2021/202107.htm

I'd bet it dropped another .5 years or so from 2020 to 2021.

Yup.  Poorly stated on my part.

Seems like just pairing it with flu shot in early fall or whatever is a common sense solution.  Knock them out at same time and be done with it.  Maybe they can get big brained enough for a combo shot for even greater efficiency.

Can someone give us an update on the trends?  Cases heading down now?
Getting better in Kansas. Fewer new cases. Fewer hospitalized patients. Less impossible to transfer critical (non-covid) patients to referral hospitals. Fewer requests for testing and monoclonals. Less kids / teachers out of school. Trends seem to be heading in the right direction.

Pfizer 3.0, just had Covid.

I’m gonna sit out Covid injections for awhile.

Probably until they roll out RoboChip from Aberdeen.

Not sure if you're aware but there is this thing called antibodies?  Those should increase after infection and especially since he got the booster.

I just got blood work back and mine are >150 which is pretty damn high.  My doctor absolutely told me that a booster wasn't needed at the moment but you're apparently smarter than most.... What a maroon.
Fifteen minutes later, when the Kansas locker room opened its doors to the media, the Jayhawks were still crying. Literally, bawling. All of them. I've never seen anything like it, and I've seen devastated college locker rooms -- after losses in the Final Four, the national championship game -- ever

I'm guessing Bavaria means Munich? So, two of the three largest cities in Germany (no one really cares about Hamburg, regardless) vs. the rest of Germany?

Masks mandates now a days do seem kind of silly and don't appear to help against Omicron.  Pretty proud of that guy using all those Omicron # to sell that book of his.  Enjoy the read Dax!

Feels good to be on the tail end of this thing.  Really proud of all the front line medical workers and teachers who I’m sure had the worst 2 years of their professional lives.  Hopefully we don’t see another one in our lifetime.

At least you didn’t edit my post in the response and don’t appear to be confused.

So a single thumbs up I suppose.

You’re welcome.  I think we should get a “thin blue line” style flag and also get special parking and discounts. Then we can close out this ticket.
