when do you peeps decide to go get tested?  feel warm, crappy?  Rule out a hangover?  Or do you defacto get a test if headed to see older family?

I have gone by the benchmark of respiratory.  Meaning if I feel weird, or warm but absolutely no cough, sore throat, sniffles, congestion etc., I don't get the test.

My parents are negative, so is bro, two uncles and an aunt.   My parents went immediately to get tested as soon as they heard about cousin.  So did all others. 

Three of four positive had no symptoms at testing.

All four positive now have cold like symptoms.   Cousin should have told everyone prior to gathering she had mild cold like symptoms.

All at 2.0/3.0.  Positive 3.0 aunt only reports a persistent runny nose.

Your original cousin post was the genesis of my question, also confirms kind of how I am doing it.  That is, if I feel crappy but it's below the nipples I'm not testing.  If it is basically airway related I will.

What’s the angle? The thread suggests vaccine demand is picking up, which I can only assume is because the FDA -JUST- approved boosters for all adults and the CDC (even more recently) updated guidance to say that all eligible adults should get boosted.

It really sucks and I hate for you to be the target of it but Kansans do not care if their community is ravaged by covid and their health care professionals are both overworked and treated like crap. They made their choice long ago and are only more committed.

Sadly no amount of information, regardless of the source or how well it's written will change that.

I had a breakthrough case two weeks ago myself.  Flu like symptoms for 3 days and lost taste and smell and then pretty much back to normal after that.
