I don't know what to make of it either, surely the simple explanation is the evidence is picking up something else that isn't SARS Cov2. I want to say this is the second one of these I've seen, was Spain the other one? Otherwise it's weird that it would have hung around without anyone noticing considering this year.

That said I don't think 85 and older should be any sort of priority. Maybe 60 to 80 as first age group though.
