Mc, fwiw, I didn't come out here just for a visit or vacation. My mom's husband was in a serious car accident and I came out for a few days to help her through it. People are free to deem that not essential, but I do. (she is also the only person I'll be in contact with and has had a positive antibody test, however much value you place in those).

We've skipped all our normal family visit type stuff this year, including my usual visit out here over labor day weekend.

But it still made me think of all the folks who DON'T have a valid reason to come and go from the Bay and will make it take longer for my kids to go back to school. And it's hard for people to think that way when we are a nation of "individual responsibility"

How do these studies have any idea that these are tied to the plane vs airport or just general spread? I mean there is no doubt it can spread on a plane but this is a stretch.

They can't know for sure but none of the other passengers had been in known high-prevalence areas or had any symptoms before the flight

IDK... I drove back to Kansas last week instead of flying, stayed in a hotel, and only hung out with my family outside.
