I got over "this is going to be really bad" on about Tuesday, guess I assumed everybody else did too. Seems I've been doing the stay at home order since Sunday without knowing it.

i listened to a podcast where they mentioned that there is a similar split in the data from China, where males are twice as likely to be smokers as females. might be a factor in Italy too, idk

Has there been anymore data on blood type being a higher risk? Seems weird but I don't know anything about virusing.

This is a question where context and nuance changes everything. In a world of the polar opposites of approve and disapprove without any other choices, I'm approving. I think his rhetoric is harmful to say the least, but I am able to distinguish the diarrhea spewing out of his mouth during these daily briefings from the actual work the administration is doing to try to slow this down. None of the democrats his administration are working with either in Washington or from states across the country seem to be complaining.

That being said, I look forward to when the books are written about this and we find out about the extreme things being done behind-the-scenes to keep him from rough ridin' everything up.

This dumb [redacted] makes it very difficult to try to give him a shred of credit.

saw some tweets saying that type a was more vulnerable and type o less, but i didn't try to open any of the articles or anything to see if it looked credible.

The death to positive test ratio is going to be something. We gonna have some people claiming a 30% death rate.

Yeah figured like this and even the estimated death tolls are kind of comforting when you look at them from a distance. I mean the hit to health and economy is jarring when you’re living in the midst of it, but when you step back it’s pretty easy to see a (not even that long) path to recovery.
